I've added back issues of our newsletters to the Newsletters page. These contain not just information about what we're up to but also information about the plants themselves both in the wild and in cultivation. I'll also add more articles and papers both new and old over the coming weeks. Subscribe to be kept up to date captiveexotics.com.au/newsletter
Congratulations Greg on taking the helm of this Aussie Icon and bringing it forward with your extensive knowledge. For those who have dealt with Captive Exotics previously will know that it has always provided the best of service with quality plants. No this is not a paid advert. I have known Greg for many years and I don't know how he manages to keep up such a busy lifestyle but the dedication he shows is amazing. Best Wishes Phill Mann Southern Carnivores

Does anyone know if Captive Exotics is still operating I have tryed to contact them via email with no reply. the site lists a hundred or more nepenthes for sale but only 20 or so avalible I dont see the point of listing so many plants when you actulally have very few of them to sell this nursery has gone downhill since tony sold it.
thatoneplantboi: Hey guys, I'm new to growing nepenthes, I'm getting a mini indoor greenhouse to grow them in. What kind of light should I use for them? Also, if you could provide a link to a product, it would be very much appreciated

borneo: Yes, they work superbly. But you don't need expensive lights, cheap ones work well too.

mylesg: i havent checked in here for a while, why does it seem all the CP forums have lost their once strong activity? the trade/sale section used to be so active and now its a ghost town. where is everybody hanging out these days for a strong online CP community?

vidyut: hey mylesg. glad to hear that. Love this forum. Facebook can't organize knowledge like this. Will participate as much as I can.

vidyut: Photobucket has ruined this place and many other forum archives with years and years of photos worth referencing now blurred. Priceless information hostage to services once free, begging for adoption, arbitrarily monetized.
