If you live in Hawaii why do you need a greenhouse?

I got to the ugly job today ....... rock drilling and placing the poles. Next ..... cement the poles in place and then start assembly. I threw up one hoop just to get an idea of ultimate height. Things should go swiftly from here on out and I expect to be 'skinning' the whole thing within a week or two.

Sam, Too low. The plants here grow fast as seedlings reaching that modest height in just one year!

My raff is still growing with no sign of upper pitchering or flowering. This is a current shot with a height of about twelve feet! Its taller than the garage roof. I wonder how tall it will get before it bends over and starts growing sideways? M

My Sarawak giant is like over a meter wide, with shoots threatening to sprout all over the stem, and basals forming. Not exactly sure why, but it's getting monsterish. I just thank good the stem internodes are still held short, because if I had to cut this thing, I would no longer have room for all the sprouts it'd create .

After I remove some of the larger shrubs, I'm putting many of my raff clones out in full sun.

Rainforest .....
Yeah, I wish it was taller and longer and made of glass but .... "use what got".
My raffs are doing the same thing as yours. I think the raffs would do just fine in full sun. .... just don't forget to water.

Sam, The greenhouse looks good. You intend it for highland plants, correct?
