New guy here, never had Pings before, these are your High Street broad and narrow leaf type, had them for about 8 weeks in a home made bog and we are having a second flowering of the broad leafs, I have noticed that one of the broad leafs has put out two white roots/runners from the base of the original leafs is this a new plant growing?. the narrow leaf is growing like mad but no flower stem yet. As Iam in the uk sun shine can be rare but I have a garden that is a sun trap and receives a good 10 to 12 hours of direct sun.
other plants....2x S. Purpurea..3x N.Ventrata..4x D.Capensis and about 14x VFT....
Send us a picture! It'll help us figure out what you're trying to point out. That being said, Nepenthes tend not to like sitting in peat like the others and they will not do well over winter outdoors The rest will likely survive the winter or die back and come back from the roots unless the pinguicula are Mexican pinguicula in which case they'll need to be indoors as well over winter
White roots on Mexican Pinguicula are just roots, they usually will divide at the crown Depending on what you've got them planted in you may want to repot them into different media, they like being on well aerated media. Peat or Sphagnum will likely lead to root rot
If the Sarracenia and flytraps are in the fish tank then I'd also suggest getting them out of that and into open air, they are temperate plants and although they'll probably like the humidity in the growing season, it might hurt during winter. If you can send pictures of your setup, other people here can also give you some pointers if necessary
thatoneplantboi: Hey guys, I'm new to growing nepenthes, I'm getting a mini indoor greenhouse to grow them in. What kind of light should I use for them? Also, if you could provide a link to a product, it would be very much appreciated

borneo: Yes, they work superbly. But you don't need expensive lights, cheap ones work well too.

vidyut: Photobucket has ruined this place and many other forum archives with years and years of photos worth referencing now blurred. Priceless information hostage to services once free, begging for adoption, arbitrarily monetized.
