hi, im from medan, indonesia and this is my first thread in this forum..
i need help with this thing.. im sorry if i post this thread at the wrong place.. will someone help me please ? thanks a lot before.
anyone, please help me with my nepenthes, the upper pitcher is starting to wilt, is it because of the tap water that i used to use ? does the nepenthes looks normal ? since the stalk, or stem ? is brown.. and quite hard or solid. it's not like other nepenthes that i saw on google.. anyone, please..
Hi, your plant looks "baik". IMHO, it is normal for some pitchers and leaves to dry up as long as it doesnt outpace new leaf growth. As for the stems turning brown, i think it just means that those stems are already mature and are not good for making cuttings but still normal. Anyway, let's wait for other more experienced hobbyists to chime in.
thatoneplantboi: Hey guys, I'm new to growing nepenthes, I'm getting a mini indoor greenhouse to grow them in. What kind of light should I use for them? Also, if you could provide a link to a product, it would be very much appreciated

borneo: Yes, they work superbly. But you don't need expensive lights, cheap ones work well too.

vidyut: Photobucket has ruined this place and many other forum archives with years and years of photos worth referencing now blurred. Priceless information hostage to services once free, begging for adoption, arbitrarily monetized.
