Heliamphora sp. "Angasima"
Here's a shot of a newly-sprouted Heliamphora seed -- approximately two days old -- suspended in a wad of Knudsen-C Orchid (TC) Media. Strangely, the seed was lagging behind those which had been planted in conventional compost on 16 June; and it is usually quite the opposite. There's always room for Jello . . . Heliamphora sp. Angasima -- 18 July
Here is a bit of progress since 18 July of my latest batch of Heliamphora seed. Though it is a bit difficult to see, cotyledons have already been produced. Heliamphora sp. "Angasima" 4 August
"Quamdiu stat Colisæus, stat et Roma; quando cadet colisæus, cadet et Roma; quando cadet Roma, cadet et mundus."
Here are the earliest signs of germination of a batch of 2012 Heliamphora seed -- some of which were sown in either mid- September or early October. The media, in each case 9for those few interested), was 2:3 Knudsen-C with 5.4 µM NAA (1 mg/L). Other species and varieties are also on the way . . .
thatoneplantboi: Hey guys, I'm new to growing nepenthes, I'm getting a mini indoor greenhouse to grow them in. What kind of light should I use for them? Also, if you could provide a link to a product, it would be very much appreciated

vidyut: Photobucket has ruined this place and many other forum archives with years and years of photos worth referencing now blurred. Priceless information hostage to services once free, begging for adoption, arbitrarily monetized.
