I know we've done this many times before, but this topic never seems to grow old. ;D Here is MT's veitchii 'Bario' that I got from Tony a little while back. Thanks to Tony's perfect packing, it never skipped a beat. Here is the new pitcher. So if you grow other forms of veitchii, please post some pics. I know I'd like to see them. Mitchell

Nice pitchers guys It always amazes me how hairy the N. veitchii species is. It's got to be one of the most mammalian looking plants of all the nepenthes. Nice plants you guys have!

Mammalian is a good word for veitchii. Thats why i love veitchii's, pillosa's, etc...Hair on a CP just makes it that much cooler. Gorgeous plants guys! Now if only there was a hairy N. bicalcarata...

Very nice plants!!! Greg, I also have a veitchii "Pink". Philcula gave it to me when it was still called veitchii X sp.2 (hurrelliana). I guess MT has decided the it really doesn't have any hurrelliana in it. For me it has been painfully slow growing, but well worth it. Last winter it decided to stop growing, and send up a basal. But it is still about the same size as yours. I thought it was odd. Keep the pics coming! Mitchell

Well... I got a call from Philcula last night. He said he is bequeathing me a few veitchiis. So I stopped by today to find out that he's giving me 8 of them. All different forms. Here is one of them. I'll try to put up more pics when I have more time. Mitchell

Nice! I used to have some more interesting forms of this plant a few years ago; both lowland and highland, but these days, all I have are hairy all green forms. Good to know there are some more colorful plants out there somewhere! - Rich

I'm glad you guys like the pic. brandon, Your going to find that plant is a great hybrid. It looks like a striped veitchii, but grows much faster. Mitchell
