My largest N. bical red x northiana might spike soon. Even though still a small plant by nature, it seems to be getting a little fat around the middle of the leaf sheath.
Maybe a female?
Disregard the dendrobiums in the background. When the weather gets really hot, they burst into bloom. The plant grows from out of a wall with roots deeply embedded and shoots near impossible to remove. But next year I will try Round-Up!
The flowers look nice. A good compliment to the Neps.

Tourist: "Nice flowerer! Wonderfull floweres! How do you grow those flowers? Do you sell those flowers! Got any more flowers? Do those flowers come in other colors? When do they bloom? What type of potting mix do you use on those flowers? Do you have any more pictures of your flowers?"

I find it hard to understand it when I show off my greenhouse to non-CPers and they take a quick glance and change the subject with no interest at all, or ask where the orchids are. I have 3 orchids in my GH that have never bloomed. Real exciting.

plantguyty1: Does anybody need pollen? I have N. Miranda it's the first time it flowered for me so I do not know if its sterile or a good candidate. Is there anybody with an active female that would like to give my pollen a shot?

thatoneplantboi: Hey guys, I'm new to growing nepenthes, I'm getting a mini indoor greenhouse to grow them in. What kind of light should I use for them? Also, if you could provide a link to a product, it would be very much appreciated

borneo: Yes, they work superbly. But you don't need expensive lights, cheap ones work well too.
