Really neat. And I just realised something. I been fighting whether or not to buy an albomarginata or albomarginata hybrid. My argument against it was simply that there were no termites to try it out on . Alas, I forgot about my storage room. It seems to have a bit of a termite problem, with the bugs building columns up along the wall. It's freaky looking, kinda like Silent Hill ;D! Anyway, I figure if I get an albo/albo hybrid with a good white collar, I could try and see how the termites would react to one of the pitchers. I would never take the whole plant down there though, for fear of tracking them back into the house .
“Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.” “The greatest ignorance is to reject something you know nothing about” “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”
There is a nice discussion of this in Charles Clarke's book "Nepenthes of Sumatra...", plus a nice photo of a pitcher covered with termites (see link below).
One thing to keep in mind is that most insects are specialists. The termites that N. albo attracts harvest lichens and fungi off of tree bark. The white color mimics lichen and fungi, so the termites are attracted to it. The termites that we are used to eat decaying wood. They may or may not be attracted to the pitchers in the same way. It would be interesting to find out.

plantguyty1: Does anybody need pollen? I have N. Miranda it's the first time it flowered for me so I do not know if its sterile or a good candidate. Is there anybody with an active female that would like to give my pollen a shot?
