Just tryin to clear this up. There seems to be some confusion.
Striped was used to refer to the veitchii parent, not the eymae x veitchii itself. Striped, particularly in veitchii, is used to describe the peristome, not the pitchers. So it were to say "veitchii striped", that means that the veitchii has a striped peristome, not striped pitchers. Just clearing that up.
“Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.” “The greatest ignorance is to reject something you know nothing about” “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”
Hmm well my tag says striped however all pitchers are flecked due to the eymae parentage, and my peristome isnt striped so i guess my tag must refer to the pitcher itself.
To tell the truth i don't care what you say iv been doing what iv been doing with nepenthes for the past 11 years im not about to stop anytime soon because some one half way around the world has a different way of doing things, your not a charles clarke a chi'en lee a michael (what ever his last name is),or the rest of the experts out there, your not one and won't be anytime soon with the "aidanism" attitude, so instead of trying to answer every question and trying to rename every plant clone that comes along that dosn't quite look the way you want it to. (it dosn't impress anyone it only jacks people off),maybe its because you think you live in the best country in the world and that you think what you guys do is always rite (ego)...iv got news for you! it isnt!! i do know about forms and clones and all the rest of the bull$hit that goes with it.
I don't consider myself an "expert" im learning new things each day it takes years of experiance and a very large collection or have studyed the topic at uni before your considered an expert. I don't hate you im not that kind of person but the constant.....hmmm whats the word im looking for here......ohh yes "AIDANism" (yes i think we all know were that word comes from ;D). So just sit back like me have a couple of cones watch whats going on,learn from it maybe contribute but dont be that annoying person that has to know everything (aidanism) (have you figured out who im talking about yet? ;D) and it will be all good ;D ;D ;D.
I hope you don't get offended by this but its something that makes me crack very easy and i just cannot be in a forum with a whole bunch of little aidanism people running around answering everything ;D.
Your not always rite lol so stop trying to be. .........yes im the ignorant person who thinks im rite all the time. im not the kind of person who will go crazy because im wrong....you on the other hand must always be rite because your the "expert" (not) who lives in the USA so what you say must be rite always.
I think this aidanism might come from the fact that you have grown alot of plants so you think to yourself "hmmm iv had so many plants so i must be an expert"........how many of thoes have you grown to maturity lol? and what i mean by maturity is a plant that has flowered.....hmmm i can't wait for this answer.
The plant has stripes so it's gona stay named striped geoff knows what hes doing which ever way he named it i don't really care its staying the way it is in my eyes so you can suck $hit and do nothing about it.
btw:im not a druggie and if you keep going like this everybodys gona hate you and you'll end up like that aidan guy of the cpuk who thinks he knows the lot and that no one likes.

Back to topic. More pictures of the plant in question:
I lucked out here and purchased over ten plus plants of this cross. I wished I had bought more though! I have a few selected clones of this hybrid I have not shown yet, and they are very different from these normal forms.
Iv had a utricularia sublata flower in my eymae x veitchii pot just thought you might be interested to know how wet i have my plant.

plantguyty1: Does anybody need pollen? I have N. Miranda it's the first time it flowered for me so I do not know if its sterile or a good candidate. Is there anybody with an active female that would like to give my pollen a shot?

thatoneplantboi: Hey guys, I'm new to growing nepenthes, I'm getting a mini indoor greenhouse to grow them in. What kind of light should I use for them? Also, if you could provide a link to a product, it would be very much appreciated

borneo: Yes, they work superbly. But you don't need expensive lights, cheap ones work well too.
