Hi people, Since we are very international here, I am recommending this free download (neither share- nor adware!), so you can visit the other members virtually. It is 180 mb, but well worth it. It's an Atlas using NASA Satellite imagery and even topo maps and arial photography (this for US only). Once you are zooming in somewhere it will automatically download details from the net. If you hold the right mouse-button down you can flip the map and have a stunning 3D view, the atlas is using then the Elevation data from the recent SRTM Space Shuttle Mission. Get it here: World Wind Have fun, Volker
Did I say the best? Well, meanwhile there is Google Earth that you can download at earth.google.com . The download is less than 11 Mb, but you have to be online while you are using it. It's also not much fun with modem, that's why I have the time writing this Qualitywise it might outpace Worldwind though. It still acts like a browser btw - showing clickable points of interests on the 3D maps. The programm is also free, if you add $20 it offers even GPS support.
After using both programs for a while, I came to the conclusion that it is actually best to have them both. Google is somewhat more fun to use, but Worldwind is just unbeatable when you are looking for placenames, even of small villages. Also you can be overwhelmed by them at times...

plantguyty1: Does anybody need pollen? I have N. Miranda it's the first time it flowered for me so I do not know if its sterile or a good candidate. Is there anybody with an active female that would like to give my pollen a shot?

thatoneplantboi: Hey guys, I'm new to growing nepenthes, I'm getting a mini indoor greenhouse to grow them in. What kind of light should I use for them? Also, if you could provide a link to a product, it would be very much appreciated

borneo: Yes, they work superbly. But you don't need expensive lights, cheap ones work well too.
