This is a new book which is due for release in the spring of this year. I saw the author Stewart Mcpherson doing a talk on it last October and it promises to make very good reading. It mainly covers Brocchinia, Catopsis, Darlingtonia, Heliamphora and Sarracenia and is packed with valuable information and absolutely wonderful photographs. A must have book if you are into any of the above plants. It will be about their natural environment rather than cultivation tips, but if you know how a plant lives in its natural environment, it makes it so much easier to replicate the right growing conditions in cultivation.
The publisher of "Pitcher Plants of the Americas," by Stewart McPherson is McDonald and Woodward Publishing. The book will officially be released in late October. For more information about McPherson's new book, and a special introductory offer, you can visit www.mwpubco.com/PitcherPlants.htm
If you haven't gotten this book yet, I would suggest getting it from Meadowview Biological Research Station. It turns out a buncha books were donated to them by Stewart McPherson and they get 100% profit which they use for conservation. More info here: www.pitcherplant.org/ Checkitout!

borneo: Yes, they work superbly. But you don't need expensive lights, cheap ones work well too.
