Since my search for horticultural ultrasonic fogger units looks doomed to failure I have been looking at reptile units.
There are some out there that have several disks, and theyre not outrageously expensive.
Does anyone use a non-horticultural intended ultrasonic fogger in a greenhouse setting?

yeah, they are all the same thing, mine is for a fog effect on ponds and stuff, just look for what ever one is cheapest and big enough for what you need
mine is a 9 disc and it is more than large enough to fill my 6 by 4 foot greenhouse with a thick fog
they my not be too expensive buy, but they are to run, mine uses 8amps of power (equal to about 1 and a half large refrigerators) you might what to think about useing a swamp cooler instead, they cost a little more but are much cheaper to run

Thanks Mikef I didnt think they would use much power, thats kinda a worry.... Any idea of the millimetre an hour output that we need for greenhouses? The ones Ive been looking at are around 300 ml/h.
Cheers, Nic

www.mainlandmart.com/foggers.html i got mine from these guys, but i don't no if they ship over sea. mine is 1100ml/h and is probably big enough for a greenhouse three or four times the size of mine how big is your greenhouse?

your greenhouse is 6 by 10foot right? (i used the search tool) id say the 300ml/h is the smallest you should get, maybe a 500ml/h would be better is it gonna be on all day? mine takes too much power so i have it turn on and off throughout the day but if you get a smaller one you might just want to leave it on all day heres mine(dont forget to make shure yours comes with a float like mine has)

mine is setup like a swampcooler, the fogger is inside this chamber outside of my greenhouse, an exhaust fan kicks on with the fogger to pump freshly cooler/humidified air into the greenhouse
