mine was from califcarn, it lived for a few years and then died randomly

It is a native of Portugal and Spain. I think the California Carnivores has that beautiful plant for sale.

nepenthes99, That is where mine came from as well. I got it as a large plant in a trade with Damon and it seems to be a very easy grower. From what I understand you just have to be careful not to over water them. Did yours look like it rotted out? Any idea of the cause of death? Mitchell

Really!?!?  I have mine in full sun and it seems to love it. I used the same mix as C.C. and I water it with tap water. Grows like a weed. I have to say... I'm at a loss.  Maybe to fast of a transition to full sun? Mitchell
