nepenthes99, That is where mine came from as well. I got it as a large plant in a trade with Damon and it seems to be a very easy grower. From what I understand you just have to be careful not to over water them. Did yours look like it rotted out? Any idea of the cause of death? Mitchell

Really!?!? I have mine in full sun and it seems to love it. I used the same mix as C.C. and I water it with tap water. Grows like a weed. I have to say... I'm at a loss. Maybe to fast of a transition to full sun? Mitchell
I grow my droso's in full sun from about 9am to about 4pm, they are in a mix of 3sand / 1 perlite / 1 peat / 1spag / 1 fine bark and a 30cm tall pot with a 3cm water tray that evaporates every day and is reffiled every morning (but somedays i forget), i love the smell they put off. day temps of 25-40c and nights of 10-25c I also had one at dads in the same conditions but it was always sickly, i think it was the humidity but, here (Where i rent for uni) humidity is 40-50% but dads (a couple hours north) averages 60-80% depending on the season.
thatoneplantboi: Hey guys, I'm new to growing nepenthes, I'm getting a mini indoor greenhouse to grow them in. What kind of light should I use for them? Also, if you could provide a link to a product, it would be very much appreciated

borneo: Yes, they work superbly. But you don't need expensive lights, cheap ones work well too.

mylesg: i havent checked in here for a while, why does it seem all the CP forums have lost their once strong activity? the trade/sale section used to be so active and now its a ghost town. where is everybody hanging out these days for a strong online CP community?

vidyut: hey mylesg. glad to hear that. Love this forum. Facebook can't organize knowledge like this. Will participate as much as I can.

vidyut: Photobucket has ruined this place and many other forum archives with years and years of photos worth referencing now blurred. Priceless information hostage to services once free, begging for adoption, arbitrarily monetized.
