Hej who grow this? Pictures are welcome. I have found not many Pictures on the net, only from young plants.

Seriously. I raised this question over a month ago. Nobody seems to be doing much with the highland truncatas.

I have a Highland Red, a large palawan i believe, a mindanao, and an 'Exotica' which is much more squat than the rest. Not too sure if any are pasian though maybe the highland or the 'Exotica'?

Here are a couple N. truncata Pasian Highland plants (seed grown). The first plant is my largest one with 15 inch pitchers. The second one is somewhat smaller, but so far appears more colorful. Overall, the highland truncatas don't seem to have much color, except for the handful of red/black ones floating around. I still like them because they grow much better in cooler climates than the lowland form. cp

Geez, asking about TRUNCATA cuttings . I guess an air layer could work better, far into the future when it actually has some stem length.

Well I believe I owe an apology to lol and Yamada. So I'd like to say sorry: for getting jumpy and any rudeness, this wasn't my intentions, just thinking a little too far in the future. And also I'd like to add, never a black beaut as beautiful as that. Also since I'm not aware of the full area names of the phillippines is pasian an area or more a form name for these truncatas? P.S. Sunbelle thanks for the phillipine geography short! ;D

Wow, everyone! Nice range of variations in those. All have their own unique personality...and of course they're very colorful. Pasian is a mountain range (or highland hills region on Mindanao) yamata any chance of hopping on a future cutting list? That is the most beautiful truncata black I've seen by far... Just what every grower loves to hear when they post photos! NOT! Please don't beg for cuttings when other growers are sharing their expertise and photographs of their finest plants. If you want to keep seeing the pics, please post something a little more rewarding for the person who is taking the time to share with you.

wow! That's the blackest nepenthes I've ever seen, including ramispina and muluensis x lowii. I would have never guessed the blackest nep I'd see would be a truncata!
