One of my Campanulata is forming an infloresence, I have two, one is healthy and in my greenhouse, but the one that is about to flower is a smaller and at the moment trapless baby plant I have been trialling in my polyhouse, should I collect the pollen or break of the infloresence, the only other plant about to flower is my Mirabilis, but It is already opening flowers, and I am unsure of the camps sex, most of my neps flower in a couple months time, can I store the pollen like sarracenia or is it short lived like nep seed? I have never been able to upload pics on this forum so i have put the pics on my flickr and added the HTTP
You can let it flower, it will not "drain" the plant. Then you can record the sex of the clone for future reference and trading value of any resulting cuttings.
These are some really bad companies, all shells of Plantron Inc., so don't order from them unless you want small and dead plants they don't want to refund:
Farmer Seed and Nursery
Four Seasons Nursery
House of Wesley
Richard Owen Nursery
How do garbage companies like these stay in business, ripping people off year
Cheers, if it was healthy I would not care if it flowered, it was just because of its poor condition, Fingers crossed its female as I have a male (and flowerin age) veitchii I think would go well with it.

plantguyty1: Does anybody need pollen? I have N. Miranda it's the first time it flowered for me so I do not know if its sterile or a good candidate. Is there anybody with an active female that would like to give my pollen a shot?

thatoneplantboi: Hey guys, I'm new to growing nepenthes, I'm getting a mini indoor greenhouse to grow them in. What kind of light should I use for them? Also, if you could provide a link to a product, it would be very much appreciated
