These were available at the end of 2008 and into 2009. I had 10 at the time and I think they are all gone except for one plant which I guess I should make some cuttings from. For me they seem to be prone to that leaf blotching that N. spectabilis gives me trouble with too. This one plant even more than the rest which is why it hasn't been sold.
This is a rare plant in cultivation actually. We raised some from seeds which all sold out some time back but we didn't put it into the lab for some reason. Perhaps we should make it again.
Wow, I didn't realize this was an uncommon cross. I didn't mean for this to be a tease, but now that you've said it, Tony and I can start chopping up our plants and demanding unreasonable prices! (mature N. edwardsiana specimens also accepted.)
Aha! We Do have it in the lab after all. I was wrong - am I ever wrong? yes, I know. it's rare
It was marked as absent in the main database so I assumed we hadn't put it into microprop but it turns out our primary stock was lost due to a contamination accident, not that it was never introduced at all. But we've found more jars of it in our backup gene bank which is in a different location. I'm so pleased! There are 3 clones and a total of 20 jars so it will take about a year to get into the nurseries but we'll get to it.
;D What does that mean? I really hope I'm not yet that chronologically challenged that I might have some difficulty waiting around to make another hybrid LOL! (Just kidding, I hope!)
Seriously though, it's not the difficulty in making it again, it's also that in my experience with Neps and particularly with hybrids, another attempt, even with the same parents can often produce very different results. May not be so big, or different colour or not as robust etc. Or maybe it will be better. We have made some hybrids several times in the quest for something better. Also the back cross can be rather different too.

plantguyty1: Does anybody need pollen? I have N. Miranda it's the first time it flowered for me so I do not know if its sterile or a good candidate. Is there anybody with an active female that would like to give my pollen a shot?

thatoneplantboi: Hey guys, I'm new to growing nepenthes, I'm getting a mini indoor greenhouse to grow them in. What kind of light should I use for them? Also, if you could provide a link to a product, it would be very much appreciated

borneo: Yes, they work superbly. But you don't need expensive lights, cheap ones work well too.
