Just got it but i have to post this! Cleary this pitcher in the middle is more on the lowii x ventricosa side of the family. Its the only pitcher of two plants in one pot.

It's interesting how different our plants look. My lowers tend to be narrower and the peristome is thinner. Mine changed a lot during the progression from lower to upper pitchers. The maxima influence is a lot less obvious (to me, at least). But as I doubt I could grow lowii x ventricosa here where I live (but really wish I could), this suits me fine. Attachments:

Very nice! I like your uppers well i think if you can grow this hybrid you will definitely be able to grow lowii x ventricosa

Thanks, it's one of my favourite plants and dead easy to grow. Maybe i should just give lowii x ventricosa a go then...

Mine came from ep via a local hardware store. I've had it for about 18 months.

A hybrid from California Carinivores: N. 'Peter D'Amato' x maxima. I have a couple of these (one with more robust pitchers) but can only seem to find this one ..... N. (ventricosa x lowii) x maxima
