Just wondering if anyone had managed to get N. alba to produce white pitchers in cultivation? I know the plants naturally experience very strong light levels, so I'd be interested to see how indoor growers get on with this species.
It is only the upper pitchers of N. alba which have the white colouration. The lowers being a dark, mottled red. My plants have finally come into their own this year, not having done very well in previous years. My smallish plants now have 5" lower pitchers, and I am hoping for the first uppers this year.
It will certainly be interesting to see what they are going to look like.
Kyle (Carnilvr79): The Seed List is IN!!!! PM me before Monday to get the sneak peak and first hand order of the Jerry Addington Sarracenia Hybrids - there are 283 crosses to choose from as of right now, however, the first person on the list has it in their hands right now.
