So i was wondering if using a mirror to reflect my Neon's light to my plants would be a good idea? i have quite a few mirrors that are broken but there are still a lot of usefull areas. I did not seems to be able to find any informations on this. Any idea? I know usualy metal sheets (mirror looking ones) are used ... but since i am stuck with all those broken mirrors ... better use them! Thanks

a mirror should work fine for fluorescent light, but not for sunlight, metal halides or any kind of light with a stong par value because it can create hot spots on the leaves and burn them
