Hi Geoff and Andrea, Just got a few questions if you don't mind. 1) Which lowii type (mtn.) was used to produce the new lowii hybrids, were they all made using the Kinabualu lowii? a) N. lowii x (ampullaria x mira) b) N. lowii x boschiana c) N. lowii x campanulata d) N. lowii x (maxima x mira) e) N. lowii x merrilliana-giant f) N. lowii x (maxima x veitchii-H/L) g) N. lowii x spectabilis h) N. lowii x talangensis i) N. lowii x (sibuyanensis x maxima) 2) Was Trusmadi lowii used in the old g) N. lowii x (spathulata x maxima) hybrid? 3) Which mountain form of spectabilis was used in N. lowii x spectabilis? 4) From observing the archive site, i noticed N. Lowii x stenophylla was once on the list. Was it really Lowii x stenophylla or the reverse? N. Stenophylla x Lowii? As i have not seen any N. Lowii x stenophylla used in your crosses to date. web.archive.org/web/20080720224818/http://www.exoticaplants.com.au/welcome.aspx?page=72&mid=2&cat1id=17&cat1name=Nepenthes+Hybrids&keysearch=&catpage=75) Did N. Lowii x Chaniana (formerly Pilosa), come up from wild seed? And is this the way that N. Stenophylla x Lowii was also obtained (wild seed)? 6) Has N.Lowii x Densiflora previously made? 7) Have you considered remaking the N.Starfire hybrid, but using the more waisted ventricosa (c) or (d) black form?

Hi Red Lowii,
Please see answers below within the quote:
Obviously you like N.lowii hybrids so you'll be interested to know that there are quite a few new ones coming up soon such as N.lowii x fusca N.lowii x maxima (two forms) N.lowii x Sabre-Dark Cherry N.lowii x (northiana x veitchii) N.truncata-red x lowii and a remake of the popular N.truncata x xtrusmadiensis
All using Mt. Kinabalu form of N.lowii.
Thanks and good growing,
Geoff

Ooh finally truncata x lowii... Simply amazing. I really want lowii x sabre.... Itll be even better than lowii x ventricosa! I must say im very impressed with the plants you sent me geoff thanx very much, but unfortunately there was a lot of damage to the plants nothing that cant be rectified with love and care though. Ofcourse that was completely not your fault the d**n plant inspectors this side decided not to inspect the package for two weeks! But im off point, im getting more and more impressed with your plants, ine hybrid i would really want to see is lowii x inermis/dubia. Or a briggsiana remake... Well ive beaten you to that one

Geoff: It's been awhile since N mirabilis (p) x bicalacarata disappeared from the list. Will there be a day where it reappears again? I missed seeing this for some years already..... ;D

Hi All. LobsterX: That is the best one I have seen. No sorry we do not have any of these anymore. For you Kevin. The lowers N.Sabre-DC are probably better. huy716: The N.veitchii (h) and (k) were bred from one of our greenhouse bred Bario forms crossed with 2 of our original collected Bario males. Thanks, Geoff

I would love to order a DC from you, but in your list it only states that you sell various clones. Is there a way of actually specifying a DC when you purchase vent x TM?
