PLANT OF THE YEAR CONTEST: 2012
This is the PLANT that is performing exceptionally, the PLANT with great presentation value, the PLANT with the most exceptional array of pitchers, etc. Entry should showcase the entire plant.
Rules of Entry:
1. Only ONE (1) PLANT per member may be entered in any particular month.
2. All pictures must be taken in the month of entry into contest.
3. Entries are restricted to cultivated plants.
4. Contestants may post as many times and as many pictures of their entry as they like until contest closing on 12/25/12.
5. Plant must have been grown by owner at least six months prior to photo.
6. Times of Contest and Poll openings and closings are to be understood as GMT.
7. Judging by forum members and guests in a poll opening on 12/26/12, closing 12/31/12, and using the Condorcet Internet Voting Service (Beatpath/Schulze/CSSD completion rule). The THREE (3) most popular entries (... according to "proportional representation" ... www.cs.cornell.edu/w8/~andru/civs/proportional.html10) will be considered "Winners" and will be posted in the 'Hall of Fame" sub-board.
9. Duggins' Rule: "FIRST PLACE" winners cannot be entered into a new contest for a period of 6 months after having won.
10. "One man, One vote" Rule: No contestant should vote more than once, nor should they arrange for others to cast "shadow votes" for them. Any contestant determined to be in violation of this rule will be subject to disqualification.
