First off, congrats on flowering your veitchii (k) so fast! I just noticed today that my female truncata x (spectabilis x northiana) is in spike. Flower on 1/28/12 Lower pitcher Upper pitcher So if you have any pollen left over, let me know if you want to give it a shot. As you can see from the flower pic, there is time. Mitchell

Sorry, I gave all the pollen to Dave. It was my first time collecting pollen and I did not do it well.

I'm on the look out for it. Will attempt to pollinate ASAP.
I think N. veitchii will make for a very nice cross with 'Splendid Diana'. Hope the pollen comes through okay, the female flower is very pungent right now!
Michell, I can send you some N. maxima pollen. This is one of those kinds which have solid red, wide peristomes on the lowers...

I received the pollen, but it has been kept too wet. Pollen has to be dry, or it will rot. I'm drying out the material I received, but most of it has turned a grayish color. Only one flower out of like three hundred had bright yellow pollen It's already been applied to several flowers. I'll see what comes back from drying it... I noticed a bunch of yellow stains on the sepals, so some of the pollen might not be dead yet

Sounds nice, please send me a PM with your details.
'Lady Pauline' is a male plant. So he could do his own rather nice cross...
