Is it normal for a Heli. pitcher to be growing on the flower? cause ive seen venus flytraps and droseras grow on flowers cause its a mutation thing i believe? but ive never seen a Heli. pitcher apart of the flower. Because my Heliamphora recently flowered and theres a pitcher on the flower! Am i the first or what? ;D

wow thats really amazing! So seems like whenever they flower its typical for the pitcher to be apart of the flower. It seems to be a normal thing now. I personally felt like it was amazing because i grow cephs and neps, etc. and when they flower, a flower is a flower. It doesnt have any sign of being unique to its kind. I feel like a noob now . BUT its okay! Its my first Heliamphora flower so all is swell.

plantguyty1: Does anybody need pollen? I have N. Miranda it's the first time it flowered for me so I do not know if its sterile or a good candidate. Is there anybody with an active female that would like to give my pollen a shot?

thatoneplantboi: Hey guys, I'm new to growing nepenthes, I'm getting a mini indoor greenhouse to grow them in. What kind of light should I use for them? Also, if you could provide a link to a product, it would be very much appreciated

borneo: Yes, they work superbly. But you don't need expensive lights, cheap ones work well too.
