Larry, Volker's Nxdyeriana used to be labeled as edwardsiana x burbidgeae or are you reffering to the real thing? I dont think it'll do well in Manila as both parents are Ultra Highlanders... but N. Dicksoniana I think would be great... I'd grow it as I grow my raffs, open mix lots of lights and humidity. Unfortunately I grow neither of them so I dont have first hand experience.

I ordered these from fauzi, way before volker started importing.
well, at least they are still alive.
i am just curious why dicksoniana (raff x vetchii) is not doing well for me.

Yes, I suspect my wholesale source didn't have any idea about their Nepenthes, so they googled around and named what was supposed to be Dyeriana as burbidgeae x edwardsiana, because it looks on very tiny thumbnails and uncleaned reading-glasses the same The real hybrid burbidgeae x edwardsiana was created by MT many years back and should be slow to grow. Actually burbidgeae appears to be surprisingly un-ultra-highland for me and progresses quite well. I will try to stock them up this year, so others can give it a try, too. tangigi: I was already importing before I knew you or fauzi

Tangigi, Are you still interested to know who has Burbidgeae x Edwarsiana? I do! ;D But Im in Baguio so I can't be of any help, another forumer has one.. Siravi. Maybe you can check with him about his conditions.. Oh and its burb x eddy, not the other way around!

From what I know, only MT produces burb x eddy, so unless Fauzi got their stocks from them, I doubt if what they have (or had) was the real thing.
As Jm said, you can ask Raymund (siravi) about his plant.
