Your mystery plant may be N. longifolia or its close relative N. beccariana, but I can't be certain. Nice work with the plants, I've been wanting the BE sp. 1 for a long time.

Thanks for the suggestions. I took a look at pictures of both N longifolia and N beccariana online and they look to be much better matchs for the pant I have than what I purchased it as (N sumatrana). As for Sp. 1, I have had it for a couple years now and really like the pitchers, but it grows very slow for me in my intermediate conditions. I keep wonder when they are going to get around to naming it....

I think what I appreciate most about the gallery of your Nepenthes photos is how diverse your collection is. Some people settle on one or two styles they like, and other folks (me included) like to sample the full range of types! Beautiful plants, as always, sir! PS: I finally got two seedlings from the kampotiana X leesii seeds you sent me many moons ago! Thanks! nitrogenseekers.wordpress.com

Or as my friend likes to say - Plant Hoarder... They are just so diverse ... Glad to hear that you got germination, at long last. They did not do very well for me either...

I don’t know how this guy was hiding, but I found him while I was gathering up plants for my trade list. I really like the graduation of color from top to bottom.... N Melvino (spathulata x bongso)

Very nice, Keith! I like the colouration bongso lends into its hybrids.

Hi Keith! That's not kampotiana, it's probably a hybrid ventricosa x something ... Thank you for the feedback! This is one of the first plans in my collection. I bought it from a grower here on island and he seemed sure it was true, but you are not the first the point out that it is probably a ventricosa cross. Is it possible that it is a kampotiana x ventricosa???
